RubyOSA looks neat…
Friday, October 27th, 2006I guess RubyOSA sort of like what we should be able to do in Leopard when it ships, only available right now. If RubyCocoa is a bit much for your tastes this gives you a nice interface to some workflow enhancing programming.

Sunday, August 13th, 2006Leopard Preview reportedly ships with Apache 2.0, Ruby on Rails and Subversion. It also adds support for script-to-framework programming, allowing Python and Ruby scripting to access Mac OS X specific programming interfaces.

Programming 101
Tuesday, July 19th, 2005Cool, this is the first ‘learning to program’ course i have seen that uses Ruby as the programming language: Learn to Program, by Chris Pine. Since Ruby is a real OO language unlike some others and uses some natural language construct niceties like Smalltalk it could be a great fit for IT classes. Although i haven’t had a chance to really dive into Ruby yet myself, I did get the PickAxe! ![]()
