Firefox market share in Europe

Since i still meet people that think Firefox only has a market share of a few percents i give thee this handy chart of the browsers market share per european country: XiTi - Etude Xiti Monitor
The netherlands has a shameful 10% but some european countries almost get to 40%! (even i didn’t think it was going that well for the little browser that could).
Still not using Firefox? Get it here.

The Browser Wars are Back!
A recent study has suggested that Firefox could have as much as a 20% share of the web browser market. With Microsoft expected to release Internet Explorer version 7, it looks like the Browser Wars are back on!

thanks for this link, got a lot of discussion over at our internal blog, just reposted it on the external. I wonder if there is a correlation between microsoft licenses within the countries with lower firefox uptake, ie they spend more money on microsoft and have a weaker open source policy regarding software within government?

I think someone attributed the large german percentage to their anti state chracter. I wouldn’t go so far though. Could it be a political thing though? Socialists just dig Firefox more?
