Oops… only a week after Odeo starts opening up to the first big batch of beta testers Apple comes out with a new version of iTunes supporting podcasts and a podcast overview in the built in music store similar to Odeo’s. Guess which of the two offerings Apple users will use. Being first comes at a price.

iTunes podcasts are not working very well at all yet, but it’s just out so hey…

The Norwegian minister for modernisation (nice job title) says the government will no longer accept the use of proprietary formats.
Without mentioning Microsoft, or anyone else, directly, Morton Andreas Meyer said: “Proprietary formats will no longer be acceptable in communication between citizens and government.”

Het gaat de goede kant op met de Nederlandse dienstverleners in de automatiseringswereld, zo heeft het CBS becijferd. Volgens de statistici zitten zowel de kwartaalomzetten als het aantal vacatures in de ‘computerbranche’ - zoals het CBS deze commerciële digitale tak van sport categoriseert - al langere tijd in de lift.
