Almost forgot to post what i have been working on lately… (at Skipintro)

de25dagen.nl: a small but effective (i think) site for a series of booklets on Dutch history that tie in with a television, radio & print campaign. A clean CSS based front-end built on a simple Smarty based framework that made it possible to deliver a nice little site, with a CMS, really quickly. Another nice thing is Textile based input for the CMS. It beats any rich text editor with it’s pants down.

randstad45.nl: an extranet site for Randstad staff to celebrate the fact that they are turning 45 soon. Features a slick 3D navigation cube (actual 3D, no smoke and mirrors) that would get any UI guys panties in a knot (chill there’s a non-flash version) and, again, Smarty for templating. Feature of note: Localized front-end and CMS for sixteen(!) countries and eight languages, luckily all supported in UTF-8.

A parent’s primer to computer slang

Alt.ringtones door submarinechannel. Goed plan maar wat een brakke site. Als je dan toch het ringtone site succes gaat kopieren neem dan ook dezelfde overzichtelijke download lijstjes, top 5 ringtones, etc. over. En waar gaat die vage manifesto in godesnaam over? Er wordt gewoon geld verdient toch waarom eromheen lullen? Los van dat alles denk ik dat er wel behoefte is aan een alternatieve bron van ringtones zonder Eminem, Scooter of Bauer dus daar zitten ze goed.

I just noticed that i can’t upload new post with Ecto anymore since i upgraded to Wordpress 1.5, i read somewhere that using the latest nightly build of xmlrpc.php should fix this… but it didn’t. If your reading this and have a solution don’t be afraid to share it.

update: it seems it’s not really broken the pages just fail to generate… or something. the DB gets updated fine but apparently Wordpress 1.5 is doing some caching somewhere(?) and fails to notice the pages have been updated. I’m kind of in the dark here but this seems to be what is happening.

And they are filling it with pot. No shit. It seems i was living across from a marihuana grower for a long time and i never even noticed. They are emptying out the place right now… Check my Flickr Photostream for more pics.
