Bluetooth Radar

For when you don’t want to miss any chance to meet that special someone: (((BtRadar))). I already worked out this idea with a friend once but i didn’t know enough Java to actually implement it back then. Doesn’t work on my k700i yet so i can’t tell you if it actually works. If someone found an easy way to to talk to the bluetooth hardware with java (or maybe it was already easy) we’ll probably be seeing a lot more interesting apps soon.

Actually i never worked it out. If you want to build a bleutooth based application yourself i suggest you contact the auther of the btradar software. His address is on the site i linked to in the post. The Nokia & Sony Ericsson developer forums both have manuals for building mobile applications that you might want to check out too.

You might be interested in our work with the RoomWare Project: http://roomwareproject.org

It’s a work in progress but it may lead to similar software to BTradar.
