Another big resident app change: I switched over to iTunes for win completely now. After some initial trouble with clicks and pops (solution: change quicktime sound out preferences to wave out and buffer to 900+ ms) it’s working like a charm. The browse and search options are way better than anything else out there, and i must admit i’m a sucker for brushed metal

A nice and shiny wifi enabled portable Mac G4 for 1000 bucks. Damn… this is getting hard to resist.

I’ve switched to Mozilla Thunderbird as my main mail reader and i must say i am pleasantly surprised. Altough this is only the 0.2 version it seems stable and all functions i would want are there and working already. Fast too. It doesn’t have a calendar function and such so it probably can’t replace Outlook but if you use Express switch now.
