While reading some of maarwatishet’s 12″ selections one title mentioned in passing caught my eye. The ultimate house classic Infinity by Guru Josh. At the time I simply couldn’t believe the amount of BPMs stuffed in this track.

Finally, politics seems ready to do something about this. Amsterdam is probably the only city in the world where you feel unsafe walking the streets at night not because of rampant crime, but because you could be run over by a fucking taxicab any minute. Or worse, offend a taxi driver by not jumping out of the way when crossing the street and end up being chased around the city by ten of his mates. Hope you can bike, hard.
When Microsoft offered to settle some anti-trust cases by giving $1.1 billion of computers and software to the poorest american schools (which would of course only extend their monopoly), Red Hat immediately offered to help out Microsoft by taking care of the software part. Why? So MS can spend it all on hardware, and together MS and RH can help even more schools!
Now if only every company was so concerned about the children, then surely poverty would not exist… ![]()
