I saw State and Main saturday and it was rather dissapointing. Altough the cast is indeed great, as every review will tell you, the film itself is a bit… well, dull. A few jokes are great but a lot are too predictable and the script really is a collection of setups for jokes instead of something engaging. Go rent Happiness by Tod Solondz instead, it’s better and features Philip Hoffman too.
