You might have noticed that the number of postings on this site has been dropping steadily lately. This is not because I don’t like you. I simply am a bit caught in life outside the web. Life is a bit too serious lately. My first reaction is watching more TV, but this only makes matters worse. So now I mostly use the internet to get away. On a holiday I mean. And while I could post hundreds of travel sites, there are enough sites out there who already do a good job with this. So don’t worry, I’m still here, just not as plugged in as usual.

Supercomputers come home
Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI), IBM, and Toshiba will begin development this month on a teraflop-class microprocessor, the companies announced on Monday. They hope the new microprocessor will make possible within the next five years consumer electronics devices more powerful than IBM’s Deep Blue supercomputer.
Babette has written a very complete introduction to CSS2. Most of the more interesting features are represented. In the light of recent stuff like the browser upgrade initiative this is required reading.
