Considering that last post it seems inconceivable that this site is attracting, yet again, more visitors than in previous weeks. Thanks people! dunno who you are but it’s nice to have you here. Average daily visits are now close too one hundred (from about 40 unique domains every day) which is pretty amazing to me. Since I started, this site has pissed of or enlightened 28.000 unique visitors. Ok, I know this isn’t much in e-commerce terms or anything like that. But still, I dig ![]()
-the package- arrived today. After convincing the courier my address really did exist he gave in and brought it over….
An interesting NYtimes article on how to find employees in a time when corporate loyalty seems nil.
“But behind the efforts is the same concept: branding. Position your workplace in the labor market, as you have positioned your products in the supermarket. Know your customers. Convince them you are different. Build brand loyalty.”
It highlights the fear of companies to undertake a branding action since it could easily turn against them. This fear is probably even more true in Europe where the general public seems more sober than in the US.
Of course I cheered to early. The courier couldn’t find the nameplate (It’s right there next to the doorbell you ^%#! moron) so he decided to not deliver it. So I gave the delivery service. And that seemed logical to them so they gonna learn to read maps now, at least that’s what I hope…
Why do I always end up with the stupid people to handle my business.
blogvoices is back in the air! we can get the discussion rolling again ![]()
Wow! I ordered a router at outpost.com past thursday and they called today to confirm delivery tomorrow and tell me the price with import tax included. Considering this thing was out of stock when I ordered this is the fastest service I have ever seen for my e-commerce adventures in the past. And it was cheaper then simply buying it here in The Netherlands… Some companies get it, some companies don’t.
Radonlabs is developing a completely open source game…. And it looks stunning, even on linux ![]()
