Why Iraq’s buying up Sony PlayStation 2s “Two government agencies are investigating the purchases because the PlayStations can be bundled together into a sort of crude super-computer and used for a variety of military applications, say intelligence sources.”
Doesn’t this sound suspiciously like the “ps2 can’t be exported because it’s a weapon” bullshit PR stunt they pulled a few months ago… The PS2 isn’t powerful it’s just a a crappy old PC in a shiny new box.
